West Orange is well-served by multiple airports. Newark Liberty is the most convenient, with direct access to the venue via Uber, Lyft, or rental car.

Newark Liberty International Airport

~15 minutes from Pleasantdale Chateau.

The most convenient option for our guests. Served by all major domestic carriers and many international routes. Taxis, Uber, and Lyft are readily available. Rental cars are also available on-site.

JFK

John F. Kennedy International Airport

~45–60 minutes from the venue (varies with traffic).

A great option for international travelers. Uber and Lyft are available, or consider a car rental for the weekend. Be mindful of weekend traffic on the New Jersey Turnpike.

Guest Tips

  • ✦ Book early. Hotel rooms near the venue fill up quickly on fall weekends. We recommend booking your room as soon as you RSVP.
  • ✦ Rideshares. Uber and Lyft are plentiful in the West Orange area. If you plan to enjoy cocktails at the reception, consider arranging a rideshare in advance.
  • ✦ Weather in November. Northern NJ in early November can range from crisp and clear to quite cold. We recommend bringing a coat or wrap for outdoor portions of the event.
  • ✦ Parking. Complimentary valet and self-parking are available on-site at the chateau. No need to worry about street parking.
  • ✦ Explore the area. West Orange is home to the Thomas Edison National Historical Park and Eagle Rock Reservation — perfect for a walk before or after the wedding weekend.
